Not sure where to start? Below you’ll find some key considerations to keep in mind when setting up your campaign.

  1. What are Your Goals for the Campaign?

Clearly defining your goals will help guide your campaign's success. Whether you're aiming to boost brand awareness or provide podcast listeners with a coupon code, being specific about your objectives is crucial. If you have marketing materials or a script prepared, sharing these with the podcasters can help ensure that the content aligns with your goals.

  2. Who is Your Target Audience?

Identifying your target audience is key to finding the right podcasts. Think about the characteristics of the people you want to reach and which podcasts cater to that audience. This will increase the likelihood of receiving proposals from shows that align with your target demographic.

  3. What Type of Ads or Sponsored Content Will Work Best?

There are several options for ad formats. Consider starting with industry standard pre/mid-roll ads or product reviews, from there you can try more integrated formats such as topical discussions, guest interviews and giveaways/contests. Additionally, offering a free sample to podcasters can be beneficial, as it allows them to provide an honest review of your product.

Now that you understand your campaign goals and objectives, it’s time to set up your campaign in Podcorn.

  13. Select Sponsorship Types

    • Native Sponsorships: Ads that fit the content/topic of the episode, making them more authentic and engaging.

    • Host-Read Rolls: 15-60 second spots read in the podcaster’s voice, which makes them more engaging and less disruptive than traditional commercials.

  14. Once everything is set, click Create Campaign to finalize.

This process will ensure your campaign is set up correctly and ready to start attracting proposals from podcasters!
